FOUNDERS: KASTURI & ASHWIN BHATT  ( K.A.B.)

PRESIDENT: KASTURI KUMAR, M.D.

Board certified Neurologist. A graduate of Christian Medical College Vellore, India, with residency in Neurology in Washington D.C.
Solo private practice in Neurology, in Houston for 22 years. Now enjoys retired life with focus on philanthrophy.

SECRETARY & TREASURER: ASHWIN BHATT

Biochemist & Financial Advisor. Worked in medical research for over 20 years at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda MD, V. A. Medical Center, St. Louis, Univ. of TX Medical School & Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.  After retiring from research, he enjoys helping individuals in achieving their financial goals.

DIRECTOR: SANJAY BHATT

Journalist. Won many awards during his 20 year career, working at Wall Street Journal, Palm Beach Post &  Seattle Times. Now he works as a Public Relations Officer in Washington.


ADVISORS:

GOPAL BHANDARKAR M.D.

Anesthesiologist ( retired after practicing for 35 years in Long Island N.Y.). Presided over Konkani Sammelan ( convention ) for North America in 2012. President of Konkani Charitable Fund ( konkanicf.org ) which raised over $ 250,000 in 2015 for the benefit of charities in India.


ARAVIND BALIGA

Engineer. Service Manager for Key Accounts at SWIFT. Graduated from IIT Mumbai with a M.Tech. in Computer Science.

ANURADHA BHATT

Artist & Engineer. Graduated from IIT Mumbai with a M.Tech. in Systems & Control Engineering. She works on shaping the Internet of Things. She exhibits her watercolors in various local shows in greater Philadelphia.

ASHA KAMATH

Educational Consultant with a Masters in Psychology & Masters in School Counseling. She has extensive experience working with at-risk-youth and adult education programs.

RAMESH PRABHU

Journalist. Worked for more than 20 years in Mumbai, Dubai & Bangalore. Now a professor of journalism at a media college in Bangalore. 

Served as a volunteer with Dream A Dream, an NGO that works with underprivileged children in Bangalore. By participating in an annual charity run, he raised Rs. 400,000 for Dream A Dream over four years. Under the auspices of the NGO, in 2009-10, he acted as mentor to a young boy from a local shelter.
